reads Marx and Lenin while the latter understands Marx and Lenin."

I Didn't Do It.

That's right. Me.

I am the only one you will meet, probably, so ask me what you will.

I am a Communist.

Not a bad word for me.

I feel I need to comment on this one. There are a small number of
ex-communists who have, upon finding the error of their ways, cleaved to
"Bob" over the years. The crux of the matter is that WE THOUGHT WE HAD
TO SEIZE STATE POWER IN THE NAME OF PROLETARIAT IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE
SLACK! Boy, were we wrong. Still, we had great parades, chanted swell
slogans, and, real important, we really pissed off our parents. Ask any
old SDSer who used to wave an NLF flag at rallies in the sixties.

(Wow, a guy who subscribes to soc.cult.vietnam and alt.slack! Cool!) I
left a copy a Phamphet #1 in my room at the Cuu Long Hotel in Saigon
when I checked out.
