It occured to me that this stuff is like Motel Art, in that it can be cheaply cranked out in factories by amateurs, and possibly even by chimpanzees, but it still looks plenty "artistic" enough to a very drunk businessman after a long sordid night of out-of-town schmoozing and sin that he feels like he's getting his $55/night plus tax worth from Super 8, EconoLodge, Motel 6 etc.
