Godzilla, BOB LARSON wants me on his show TODAY (Thursday) in TWO HOURS!!
That will be 3 pm Central time (4 pm Eastern). I don't have a list of the
stations that carry Larson but Jesus says he'll post one immediately.

Basically, the Bob Larson Fan Club (http://www.bitsmart.com/boblarson)
has gotten him kicked off a bunch of stations, so they keep their list
secret.

Umm, sorry about that, Stang.
When I found out that you were gonna be on, I felt the irresistable pull
to call in. Since I've zinged Bob a couple-dozen times already, I
figured I'd have to get in and out fast. Here's a quick transcript of
the call:

Bob: I have Richard on the line here. Richard, you called in a second
ago to ask a question. Richard?
Me: Yeah, I wanted to know if, basically if this kind of thing was
serious. I mean you've got this Stang person talking to this adulterous
radio preacher.
Stang: Which one is the adulterous radio preacher? I'm an adulterous
radio preacher!
Me: I mean this. . .Mr. Bob there.
[very long silence]
Bob: Now, as you can see, Ivan. I've got more nut-cases listening to me
than follow all of you.

Of course, none of it made it over the air after my original question.
Rev. Stang was on the air for about 2 minutes after my call, so I fear
that I was part of the cause.
FWIW, Bob was more pissed than he's been in quite a while. He commented
later on the "vomitous" words coming out of "that idiot's" mouth.
As for tapes, I've got 3 different tapes of the feeds:
- My pal in Denver taped the 3:00 show (2:00 Denver time), that plays on
the west coast. It featured some of the call, basically all that could
go through before Bob hit the panic button. Unfortunately, he had his
speaker-phone on during the call, so it also features a bunch of demonic
laughter.
- I taped the 4:00 show here in D/FW. When they replayed the show, they
cut off even more of my call with loud beeps.
- I've got a tape of the phone. This is the raw feed, including all the
stuff that was cut off the air. Probably the best one. If you combine
this one with the previous one, you'll get the best feed.

You don't understand. His laughter is a bit unique. The clip sounds a
bit like you hooked up a Tickle-me-Elmo up to a truck battery. In any
case, I'll make all of the clips of the interview available in glorious
RealAudio tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.
BTW, kudos to Stang for a great interview. I played it for my wife, and
she laughed even before the incriminating call. Especially the part
about being converted to Christianity every time he listens to the show.

I was saying, "Well, Praise "Bob"! Well, most Bobs fit that description,
that I know, that work in the religion business..." but that got bleeped.

No, he said right at the beginning, and afterwards, that this was a short
and unexpected last-minute thing, and he'll do a longer Hate the SubGenii
show later.

Aww, I thought Larson was practically FRIENDLY to ME! Later on, when Rev.
Wally called in, Larson really ripped into him, went straight for his
weaknesses like a vicious wild dog.
Larson wouldn't be doing his JOB -- and we'd be VERY disappointed -- if he
DIDN'T call us names and act all pissed off. I am convinced that he
actually enjoyed it, though.
