Hour of Slack #1808 - The New Frequency

(CLEAN FOR RADIO) This episode, #128, was produced on May 1, 1988 for a potentially new audience, as KNON-Dallas had just swapped frequencies with a Christian station. Stang enthusiastically took advantage of having so many confused unwitting new Christian listeners! This is therefore another "explanatory" but also confrontational show, with much spontaneous ranting, plus clips of Stang guesting on Kevin McCarthy's Pink talk show on KLIF-AM in Dallas. That is mixed and matched with various Media Barrages and hilarious then-new music by The Swinging Erudites and Dr. Onan's Wotan Band. Also: reading from "High Weirdness by Mail" which was about to be published. (Coincidentally, the old Dallas version of the show was broadcast on 89.3 at 9 pm Sunday nights -- exactly like the later Cleveland version! Same time and frequency!)
